Subtitles

Put a subtitle file beside its video with the same name, .srt or .vtt, and it's in the player. A language in its name labels it.

Steady over Wi-Fi

Headsets stream each file in short pieces, keeping 10 to 30 seconds ready. When a connection still can't keep up, x4u switches to a smaller size from the same moment, and says so.

Works offline

Every cover, photo and logo from StashDB is saved as x4u finds it, so your library looks and browses the same with no internet.

Coming from Stash

Bring your Stash or Vexxx library over: ratings, what you've watched, markers and playlists, and the previews and thumbnails Stash already made, so they aren't all made again.

Passthrough

SexLikeReal's passthrough videos play in your headset with the performer cut out and your room all round them. Press Passthrough on the scene's page.

Your own VR player

Prefer DeoVR or HereSphere? Both open your x4u library in their own player, with chapters and funscripts.

Keyboard first

Space, J, K, L, arrows and numbers work anywhere on a scene's page. Press ? to see them all.

Recycle bin

Put scenes you don't want in the bin, or one copy of a scene you have twice. They leave your library at once and come back as they were. Empty the bin to delete them from your drive for good.

Backups and storage

A copy of your library each day and week, and before every upgrade, to restore from Settings. See how much room x4u takes, and move its data to another drive in a click.

Big screens

On 1440p and 4K monitors everything grows to suit. Pick a size for each device in Settings.

Easy on your computer

Background work runs at low priority, waits for free memory, and never fills its drive, so it never takes over while you're watching.
