Movies

Gather a film's scenes, with its box covers, details and scene order.

A movie gathers the scenes of one film, dressed up as the film: its front and back covers, studio, release date, running time, director, cast and synopsis, and the film's own list of scenes, with yours in their places. Movies (in the sidebar, or at the top of the Library on a phone) shows them as a shelf of box covers. A movie plays straight through, or shuffled, like a playlist.

To make one, choose New movie and type the film's title. x4u looks it up on ThePornDB (with your key, under Settings → More stash-boxes) and in the Movie-Fy index of over 600,000 films' store pages, which x4u downloads from x4u.ca the first time (a few seconds) and searches on your computer; pick the right film, check its covers and details, and choose Make movie. You can also paste the film's page from Adult Empire and its sister stores, javdatabase, adultdvdmarketplace, or a Gamma site such as Evil Angel or Adult Time, or make it with just its title and look it up later. A playlist becomes a movie with Make it a movie, on its page.

Then add its scenes: Add scenes on the movie's page, or Save on any scene. Where the film lists its scenes, x4u puts yours in their places, by the film's own links to them, their lengths, and scene numbers in their names, and shows the ones you don't have. A scene you add to your library later goes into its place by itself, within ten minutes of being identified, when the film's list links to it (Evil Angel's, Adult Time's and their sister sites' do). If it guessed wrong, choose It's one of mine on the right place, or × on a scene to take it out of its place. Arrange reorders them by hand.

From your scenes lists the films your scenes are from, found through their StashDB links to Evil Angel, Adult Time and their sister sites, with how many of each film's scenes you have. Make movie there makes it with your scenes already in order, and Make all makes every one not made yet, one after another (tick Only films I have 2 or more scenes of to leave out those you have a single scene of); Stop stops after the one it's on.
