11. Watching on a TV
Your library as live TV channels, in an IPTV app on your TV.
x4u can play your library on a TV as channels, with a guide, in an IPTV app such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters.
- Turn it onIn Settings → TV, turn TV on. The TV needs to reach x4u too, so turn on network access under Other devices (see Phones and tablets).
- Add x4u to the appAdd a playlist by Xtream Codes login, with the server Settings shows, the username x4u, and your PIN as the password. An app without a login can take the M3U playlist and XMLTV guide addresses instead.
- Pick your channelsEverything, Recently added and Favourites are always there. Studios, performers you follow and playlists can each have channels of their own.
The channels play your scenes round the clock; tuning in joins whatever's on, part way through. VR scenes are left out, and it's live TV only, so the app's Movies and Series stay empty. Up to four channels play at once, and only what's in x4u is on.
